Studying for the Bachelor of Sciences in Environmental Natural Sciences at the Eberhard Karls Universität 2011-2014  I learned to understand environmental systems better and details of physical, chemical and biological processes. Our environment is a complex system and it is far to complicated to be understood completely. But we can try to specialize on different fields and analyze them more in detail.
Through excursions from my university, my Master Courses at the University of Oslo, seminars at the snow and avalanche research center (SLF) in Davos, Switzerland and my internship at the German environmental research institute (UFZ) in Leipzig, Germany I learned more about the hydrological cycle and how to interpret and observe it in a better way.

Through further studies in this field we can be more accurate in modeling this part of the environmental system and make predictions for water management and water quality questions which are going to get more important during the next years especially for areas where water shortage is already a problem.
